Predynastic Egypt includes the gradual transition from prehistory to where formal history begins. Terms like "Protodynastic" and others such as "Naqada III" or "Dynasty 0" are used to classify this transitional stage of development before the Early Dynastic period officially began with the unification of Lower and Upper Egypt, around 3100 BC.
The order of Egyptian pharaohs is always subject to change, as new discoveries may alter the accepted order. This applies to all Egyptian dynasties.
