Qaa

The eighth pharaoh of the First Dynasty
Also known as: Kaa
The Horus name Qa'a is well attested, but virtually nothing is known about him or his reign. Following Qa'a's death, a brief period of discord, possibly war, ensued between at least three royal houses. Prince Hotepsekhemwy emerged victorious, founding the Second Dynasty.
