Senakhtenra

The seventh pharaoh of the Seventeenth Dynasty
Prenomen: Senakhtenra
Also known as: Senakhtenre Tao in older texts
Accession 1559 BC
End of reign 1558 BC
Duration 1 years
For a long time there were no contemporary attestations of this pharaoh, so it was proposed that his birth name was Tao, like his son, as two pharaohs with that name are mentioned in the Abbott papyrus. This was disproved in 2012 when his Horus and birth names were discovered at Karnak.
