Neferkara Pepiseneb

The twelfth pharaoh of the Eighth Dynasty
Prenomen: Neferkara
Also known as: Neferkare Pepiseneb
Neferkara Pepiseneb is found on the Abydos king list number 51, while the Turin papyrus 5.8 has Neferka[ra] khered seneb. Pepi was likely deliberately replaced by khered, “the child”, perhaps in an attempt to establish a link to the long reign of Pepi II and the fact that he (too?) was a child when he became king.
